And Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand tooI squeezed the grapes to fill the king's glassPlease, tell me what will come to pass!”Joseph responded, “I know what it means.Three branches would equal three days it seems.Within three days Pharaoh will lift you up.Just as before you will bear his cup. When it all goes well for you, remember me pleaseMention me to Pharaoh, that he might permit my releaseI was forcibly taken from my Hebrew homeland,Committed no crime to deserve remand.”When the baker heard how well the cupbearer’s dream bodeOptimistically, he recounted his dream episode“I too had a dream,” to Joseph he said“Upon my head sat three baskets of bread. In the top basket, were baked goods for Pharaoh,Birds descended and devoured them though.”“Three baskets, three days,” Joseph explains“You’ll be executed, and birds will eat your remains.”On Pharaoh's birthday in three days timeAll took place just as Joseph divinedThe cupbearer to his prior place restoredThe chief baker put to death by the swordBut the chief cupbearer remembered Joseph notOf Joseph’s request he had forgot…
