Ingredients
- 3 cups hot water, tea, or coffee
- 4 raw eggs
- 1–2 tbsp cacao powder (or substitute shilajit for a low oxalate version)
- Pinch of salt
- Honey (to taste)
- Vanilla (to taste)
- Gelatin powder (optional)
- Chunks of grass-fed, organic, high omega-3 butter
Directions
- Brew your hot beverage.
- Crack the raw eggs into a wide-mouth mason jar.
- Add cacao powder, gelatin powder (optional), and vanilla.
- Pour the hot beverage over the mixture.
- Seal the lid tightly and shake vigorously until the eggs dissolve and the drink becomes frothy.
- Add raw honey to taste (adding it last prevents overheating).
- Add chunks of grass-fed butter.
- Drink and enjoy.
