Ingredients

  • 1 cup red lentils
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2-3 cups of carrots
  • 1 ½ tsp ginger
  • ½ tsp mustard powder
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric

Directions

  1. Chop carrots and cook until soft.
  2. Add raw garlic towards the end of cooking the carrots.
  3. Once lentils are cooked, add in the carrots and spices.
  4. Blend.
  5. Serve over rice with ghee and spices to taste.
