Ingredients
- 5 apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp cardamom
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts
- 3 tbsp coconut oil or ghee
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place sliced apples in a bowl and toss with lemon juice, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and salt.
- Spread apples evenly in a small baking dish.
- In another bowl, combine oats, almond flour, walnuts, coconut oil (or ghee), and maple syrup.
- Mix until a crumbly topping forms.
- Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
- Serve warm.
